Gynecology and Obstetrics

Gynecologists are doctors who specialize in Womens health, with a focus on the female reproductive system who deal with a wide range of issues, including obstetrics, or pregnancy and childbirth, menstruation and fertility issues, sexually transmitted infections (STIs), hormone disorders, and others. Obstetricians care for women during their pregnancy and just after the baby is born who also deliver babies whereas ob-gyn is trained to do all these things. ABOG-certified Gynecologists are trained to carry out certain diagnostic and surgical procedures.
